Schedule an appointment and fill out your intake questionnaire so we may utilize your initial visit efficiently and get you on your way to starting your journey.

Every initial weight management appointment starts with a one-on-one virtual visit where you and a qualified provider have the opportunity to dive deep into your health and wellness goals. We’ll go over your history and a thorough plan will be customized for you. Labs and appropriate medications may be recommended based on your needs and insurance coverage.

Your provider will notify you during your first visit if your specific insurance plan covers the medications that are recommended. You have may choose to reach your goals with no medications, FDA approved options or alternatively cost saving, safe and effective compound medication options customized for you. If your prescribed medication is in your insurance formulary, we will go ahead and begin the prior authorization process. If your insurance approves the medication, you will be notified by your pharmacy that your prescription is ready for pick up. If your insurance denies the recommended prescription, we will contact you via patient portal with alternative medication options.

Once you begin your weight management journey, a monthly follow-up appointment will be scheduled for the first three months of your journey for all patients utilizing weight loss medication. Once patients are stabilized on a specific dose and do not require titration, follow up is scheduled every three months for the first year or until your goal is met. Once you reach your desired health goals, we recommend checking in every six months to ensure continued success.

Refills of medications are easily and quickly requested via patient portal. If your plan includes compounded medications, you will receive an invoice for payment. Once payment is received your next refill will be on its way!

Any changes in medications including formulation, frequency or dosage will require a follow-up visit for reassessment with your provider to ensure a safe and effective transition.
